0243482399 | 2017-12-18 | Production Wells | No Violations | I returned to location this afternoon to check on steaming operations in the tank battery. Tom Frischietto (Bancequity), Scott Miller Contracting, and Stallion continued to steam the stone with 180 degree water and collect the oil with the vac truck. The collected product was being transferred into the 100 barrel tanks in the battery. 5200 gallons of water was used for steaming operations today. Clean-up will continue tomorrow (12/19/17). |
0271865701 | 2018-04-13 | Production Wells | No Violations | Status check inspection of this tank battery following an oil release inside secondary containment on 12/17/18. My inspection today found that the excavated sump holes inside the secondary containment have been lined with absorbent pads and have collected crude oil. The water in the holes is beginning to clear up and spring rain and warmer temperatures should aid in remediating the containment area. All oil is within the secondary containment area, is not leaching through the dike walls, and is not impacting the environment. I will continue to monitor progress at this location. |
0957506244 | 2018-03-12 | Production Wells | No Violations | Status check inspection of this tank battery following an oil release on 12/18/2017. My inspection today found that Bancequity continues to collect oil in the trenches inside the secondary containment area with absorbent pads. Snow and rain have pushed most of the oil to the west side of the containment area and the stone base in this area may need to be removed or steamed. Nothing has seeped through the dike walls or outside of containment. I will continue to monitor this location. |
1298565772 | 2005-04-06 | Production Wells | No Violations | Tank battery needs to be cleaned up. See the Bonath #1, P-3411 violation. |
1513609741 | 2017-12-18 | Production Wells | No Violations | I received a call from Tom Fischietto (President-Bancequity) on 12/17/17 that they had over-flowed a 100 barrel tank at this location. He said 4-5 barrels were inside containment and that Scott Miller Contracting (SMC) would be on location at 9:00am tomorrow (12/18/17) to begin cleaning up the tank battery. I was on location this morning with Tom, SMC, and a Stallion vac truck. There was thick oil around the two (2) 100 barrel tanks on the south side of the battery and covered an area of 15 X 30. Several sumps were dug, SMC began steaming the gravel, and Stallion was collecting the water and oil in the vac truck. No oil has migrated outside of secondary containment. I will check back later on progress. |
1513707306 | 2017-12-19 | Production Wells | No Violations | I was on location to follow-up on the clean-up of the secondary containment area of this tank battery. Tom Frischietto (Bancequity), Scott Miller Contracting (SMC), and Stallion were conducting operations. SMC repaired the burner on the steamer truck and they continued to flush the oil from the rock and collect it from the sumps that have been dug. The collected oil is being transferred to the 100 barrel tanks within the containment area. Progress is currently slow but steady. I will check back tomorrow on progress. This clean-up continues. |
1513781204 | 2017-12-20 | Production Wells | No Violations | Status check inspection of clean-up operations at this tank battery. There is currently no activity on location and all oil is contained within the secondary containment. I spoke with Tom Frischietto (Bancequity) this morning and they are planning on letting things settle after two (2) days of steaming the gravel and assess what else needs to be done to remediate the battery. He told me that Ergon will be shipping the collected oil today. I will be in touch with Bancequity for updates. This clean-up continues. |
1514468246 | 2017-12-28 | Production Wells | No Violations | Status check inspection of this tank battery clean-up. My inspection today found that the excavated sump holes inside the secondary containment have been lined with absorbent pads and are soaked with crude oil and frozen. Current weather conditions have prohibited the oil from migrating to the sumps for collection and warmer temperatures will be required to continue with remedial activities. All oil is within the secondary containment area and is not impacting the environment. I will continue to monitor progress at this location. |
1541704259 | 2018-11-08 | Production Wells | No Violations | Status check inspection of this tank battery following an oil release inside secondary containment on 12/17/18. My inspection today found the west side of the tank battery holding water and that the free crude oil has been removed. There are still several pads floating on the water and there is a minor amount of residual sheen on top of the water. This situation has been resolved. No violations. |
1765262723 | 2014-02-28 | Production Wells | No Violations | I conducted a status check inspection of this well. My inspection found the well producing with the aid of a natural gas powered pumping unit. The area around the unit was recently logged out and is in poor condition. I inspected the tank battery and found that it is diked and contains the tanks and production units for this well and the Bonath #1 (PN#23411). This well produces through a horizontal separator to 2-100 barrel tanks. The proper IDs are posted on both sets of tanks. The equipment was in good condition and I found no violations at this time. |
