I was on location with Joe Puperi, Service Forester, Ohio Division of Forestry, and Tony Kryder of Second Oil Company, a plugging contractor. Mr. Puperi identified trees that are potential roost trees for Long-Eared and Indiana bats and should be avoided due to State and Federal Regulations. At the time of the inspection the well was still inaccessible because of its location in Sugar Creek so we could not determine the fluid level inside the well. |

I was on location with Bill Wagner, owner of the property due north of the wells on the Black Swamp Holdings property, and Tony Kryder of Second Oil Company, a contractor putting together bids for plugging the two Black Swamp Holdings wells. Mr. Wagner has given verbal permission to use his property to access the wells and will allow for a certain amount of the access road to be left upon completion of the project. A Right of Entry Application will need to be completed before the contract is finalized and all necessary Landowner Waivers will be obtained at the time of Final Restoration. At the time of the inspection the bank of the creek had eroded away another 8 and the water level in the creek was down four feet from the levels in late June. There was no way to access the well to determine the fluid level inside the well. |
