0230928225 2015-08-06 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to check the status of plugging this well. The Bishop service rig is drilling out the hole at 3700. A Petroset pump truck is on location in an attempt to continue to clean the hole. The 7 diameter bit has been getting hung in the hole and is at risk of being lost downhole. The pump truck is overheating in an attempt to keep circulation. The rig will pull out of the tight spot and run back in on 8/7/2015 to 3720 to set a Big Lime/Clinton Sandstone isolation plug of approximately 500.
0474811178 2015-07-28 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to check the status of plugging this well. The Bishop Well Service shot the 2.375 diameter tubing at 4270 and pulled it from the well. The well was bond logged by Appalachian and a large salt section appears to have covered the casing from 4300-4000. A free point was found above 4000 and the rig will now attempt to rip the casing and pull it from the well in order to set the Clinton Sandstone isolation plug.
1437764069 2015-07-24 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to check the status of Bishop Well Service plugging this well. An obstruction has been encountered in the tubing at around 4300. The service rig is using a broach inside the tubing to try to drive the obstruction to bottom with rods. There is a possibility the tubing is collapsed and shifted in the wellbore. The rig will continue attempt to get through the tubing in order to set a bottom cement plug.
1438085741 2015-07-28 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to check the status of Bishop Well Service plugging this well. The rig is still attempting to get through the tight spot at the 4300 depth in the 1.5 diameter tubing. It has been decided that the tubing will have to be shot off and pulled from the well due to the collapsed tubing and casing. The tubing will be pulled from the well and a bond log will be run on the 4.5 diameter casing to find a free point in the casing. When a free point is found the casing will be either ripped and pulled from the well or perforated in order to set a Clinton Sandstone isolation plug. Appalachian Well Services will be on location 7/29/2015.
1438612025 2015-08-03 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to check the status of plugging this well. The Bishop Well Service mud pump, half round and power swivel are being set on location to drill out the cuttings that have filled the well from 3600-3950. When the cuttings have been drilled out and the hole cleaned up the remaining cement plugs will be set.
1746168635 2015-08-10 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to witness the plugging of this well. 2.375 diameter tubing was run 3350 into the wellbore and cement was tagged. The tubing had a 7.875 diameter button bit on the end in case the well needed to be drilled out to bottom. The Petroset cement truck began pumping to establish circulation and the tubing pressured up to 2000psi. The tubing was reciprocated in the wellbore but it would not break free and unplug. The tubing was again pressured to 2000psi and would not circulate. It was decided that the tubing would be pulled from the well and run in with a mud anchor and the well would be plugged on 8/11/2015.
1951540384 2015-08-11 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to witness the plugging of this well. Bishop Well Services ran 3708 of 2.375 diameter tubing and Petroset pumped a 500 14.7ppg Class A 2% gel cement plug. The plug was displaced with 10bbls of brine and the well circulated the entire job. This cement was a Clinton Sandstone isolation plug. The tubing and casing were collapsed in the well and the wellbore bottom could not be reached to set a cement plug.
2066798870 2015-07-29 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to check the status of plugging this well. The Bishop Well Service tagged a cave in at 3647 in the wellbore. They are going to pull all of the 4.5 diameter production casing and will bring in the equipment to drill out and clean up the wellbore for cement plug placement.
