0856958131 2016-08-29 Production Wells No Violations I conducted a status check inspection on this well. The well has a pumpjack with an electric motor and has production report submitted for 2015. The diked tank battery consists of one 210 barrel tank, one concrete inground brine tank, and a horizontal separator with a meter. The tank battery is shared with wells 23306, 23307, and 23308. The well and tank battery are legibly identified. There are no compliance issues noted at this time.
1257121824 2009-11-01 Production Wells No Violations I received a message at 12:47 PM from Clare (330-603-5339) at Atlas America reporting a flow line leak that released 4-5 barrels of crude oil onto the ground, into a drainage ditch, and into a creek. I called Clare back when I played the message at 5:30 PM. Remediation started this afternoon and a siphon dam was placed into the creek. Atlas called the OEPA and reported the release. The OEPA did not respond but deferred to ODNR. Additional remediation will continue tomorrow (11-2-09). All stained soils will be excavated and hauled for disposal.
1902258793 2009-11-03 Production Wells No Violations I met with Mark, the well tender, at the site and discussed the reported release (see 11-1-2009 inspection report) and the remediation. The release area (30 x 40, GPS 40.74440 81.15763) has been cleaned up and the stained soil has been hauled away. A siphon dam with several absorbent pads is in place in the drainage ditch on the east side of the lease road. Atlas America has sufficiently remediated the release at this site.
