Large kill area looks like they have swabbed well directly on ground and has run downhill. Area is 15-20 at top running downhill in ^ for 150 until it pinches out. Also kill area around the well. Called operator and asked to get cleaned up. 10/1/08 Operator brought roto-tiller in, spread 5 sacks of powdered lime and tilled it in over the kill area, then spread grass seed. They swear they didnt dump or swab saltwater on the ground - could possibly be from old tank on location that had leaked for years? This should take care of kill area - may have to go back if lime wasnt strong enough but will monitor. |
