0575102962 2018-07-11 Production Wells Violations Noted On this day, I found the well equipped with a steel plate at ground level with no visible signs of surface casing or a casing head. Coming through the steel plate is 1.9 inch diameter tubing, open-flow, with no valve, and a 1 inch diameter vent packer with the valve open. It is produced by means of a pumping unit with rods and an electric motor. The production facility consists of (1) 100 barrel steel tank, (1) 3,000 gallon polymer tank. There is standing fluid within the dike that was tested with a Low Range Quantab with results of approximately 460 parts per million chlorides. The facility is shared with multiple wells within the area, operated by Heinrich Enterprises. The identification on the tank is faded and the production records are current. Pictures were taken during the inspection. The affected area shall have all brine removed and properly disposed of immediately. Sam Johnson, with Heinrich Enterprises, was contacted on 07/31/2018 and notified of the violation.
