The tank battery consists of 1-100 bbl steel tank, located within an earthen dike; the diked area is located within an unlocked metal fence. Additionally, the diked area is shared with the tank battery for the Christian Childrens Home #2 well (PN: 169-25281). The well is equipped with a pump jack with an electric motor, located within a locked metal fence. 1-1,100 gal plastic tank is located nearby, however there is no dike around it, nor is proper well identification posted at either the tank or the wellhead. Beverly Richards with the Christian Childrens Home of Ohio was notified of these issues and will have them addressed promptly. No other problems were noted at the time of the inspection.

The tank battery consists of 1-100 bbl steel tank, located within an earthen dike; the diked area is located within an unlocked metal fence and is shared with the tank battery for the Christian Childrens #2 well (PN: 169-25281). Well identification is clearly displayed at the tank battery. The well is equipped with a pump jack with an electric motor, 1-meter box with a drip, and 1-drip with a regulator, located within a locked metal fence; 1-1,100 gal plastic tank is located within an earthen dike nearby. The well is located ~140 from its RBDMS location. A map showing the location discrepancy as well as a request for the location to be updated in RBDMS was sent to Gregg Miller and Aaron Lantz (DOGRM Columbus). No other problems were noted at the time of the inspection.

The diked area is located within an unlocked metal fence. The well is equipped with a pump jack with an electric motor. No well identification is posted at either the tank battery or the wellhead. No owner is listed in RBDMS (historic owner only), however the well is clearly being pumped. One of the Christian Childrens Home staff indicated that the well is owned by them. A card was left with a request for a call back. Beverly Richards, Director of Operations at the Christian Childrens Home called. We discussed the need for well registration, insurance, and bonding. A request was sent to Columbus for well ownership paperwork to be sent to Ms. Richards for completion. Will monitor the situation until the well is properly registered. No other problems were noted at the time of the inspection.
