Test ended at 575 psi with leaks around fittings on top. Fail pressure would have been 5 % loss or 554 Psi. So test was a good test and well now can be placed back in operation.

2054798672 2005-06-07 Solution Mining Project No Violations While checking wells at this facility I discovered what appeared to be a brine kill area.I checked and found that a pit was on site and it contained large salt crystals and had no liner.I found an area 25 ft.x 350 ft. with salt crystals and browned out vegetation. The trees and vegetation have the scald appearance of brine kill areas.I found out that there had been a spill and that over 2000 barrels of brine had been spilled across this area.I contacted OEPA and Tom Tomastik and advised of my findings.I was informed that I did not have any enforcement authority and I could only take pictures and document my findings.I did collect pictures and was advised that the spill area would have some clean up done on it this week.I was only going to be a small amount ,most likely the pits would be closed and nothing more.
