1377272194 2013-08-22 Orphan No Violations An inspection of this orphan well revealed 9 outside diameter drive pipe, 6 outside diameter casing equipped with a wellhead, rods and tubing. The wellhead contained a bullplug and a valve on opposite sides with no attached production lines. Tubing contained a pumping tee equipped with an elbow fitting. A gas odor was smelled and detected with a gas meter to show 0.05 CH4. The potential source for leak is below rod clamp. The well was situated on a property designated as agriculutral field with no overhead obstructions or oifield debris. The water well for the residence at 1491 SR 163 (Genoa Rd) was located at approx 460 away with following coordinates: N. 41.51429, W. -83.42417. Note: The landowner expressed interest in having well plugged through the Landowner Grant Program.
