2705379 Primary Facility 2018-03-08 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On March 8, 2018, the Department conducted a routine inspection at the Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, Coates Location in Standing Stone Township, Bradford County. Andrew Hobbins represented the Department. Nobody was present for Chesapeake.

The site sign, E & S plan and weekly inspection logs were on site and available for review. The site was partially snow covered, but appeared to be well vegetated. Portions of the fill and cut slope were stabilized with rock. No erosion issues were observed. The well pad has not been reduced in size, and PCSM has not been addressed.

One well was in production during the inspection. A second well was approved from inactive status by the Department. The wells were tagged and no bubbling was observed in the well cellars. Two production tanks, two GPUs and a compressor unit were also on site. The compressor unit had an engine oil tank associated with it. The containment for the engine oil was filled with stormwater. The Department recommends removing the stormwater f
