The well is hooked up for production via a pump jack which was hooked up to electricity. There were also a small tank hooked up near the well and a larger tank downhill, which had an earthen dike around it. The dike has broken through and a small amount of oil residue was noticed outside of the dike. All of this oil should be cleaned up and the dike repaired. Production has not been reported since 2009. The well was not labeled. Please label the well and use DEP's Greenport site to electronically file production data. |
