Filter fence and brush pile in place along bottom of fill slope. Pit is constructed but currently not lined. Spud notification received 02/28/14 and drilling is expected to begin 03/05/14. No E&S issues observed during inspection.
2251168 Primary Facility 2014-03-05 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At time of inspection, drill rig on site. Also on site was a potable water tank. Site ID sign, permit, E&S plan and Waste Disposal plan present. According to documents on site, operator plans to encapsulate pit, seasonal high groundwater table is >60 inches. Access road is in stable condition and is constructed with durable rock. Culverts in place and equipped with gravel. Hay is dispersed along access road. Fill slope temporarily stabilized with hay and filter fence. No E&S issues observed. Pit is lined. Dept recommends operator monitor BMP's until permanent stabilization is achieved.
2252869 Primary Facility 2014-03-10 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At time of inspection, drilling appears to be complete although well is not yet equipped for production. D-6 bulldozer on site. Pit contains a small amount of fluids and drill cuttings. Pit is surrounded by orange security fence. Topsoil pile is temporarily stabilized. Access road is in stable condition. Dept. recommends operator seed areas along access road where needed. BMP's appear to be functioning as needed. Dept. recommends operator continue to monitor BMP's until permanent stabilization is achieved.

First Class Rig 10 was drilling the gas well. Conductor pipe was set at 34 feet and sanded in. Curent depth was 1654 feet. Void encountered at 130 to 134. Applachian Well Service was performing the cement project for the coal protective pipe. Pipe was going to be set at 168 feet (13 3/8”) and cement basket set at 84 feet.
