Conductor pipe (20”) was set at 40 ft. and was sanded in. 9 5/8” pipe was set at 399 feet. On 4/28/15, cement of pipe was completed with 135 sks of Type I and 8 bbl. return. C&J Energy performed cement project. Water was recorded at 290 feet and coal was recorded at 63 ft. Current depth was 430 feet.
2365568 Primary Facility 2015-04-28 Complaint Inspection No Violations Noted DEP personnel, Paul Wyrwas and Jason Brannon inspected complaint of water notice. DEP met property owner. Complainant was not home. Property owner was concern that drilling adjacent to his property will affect his potable water source and was not notified of drilling. As per regulation, all property owners with potable wells were sampled and notified of drilling activity. Currently, the property owner resident home and adjacent trailer were approximately 2500 feet from gas well. DEP and owner walked to resident’s water source to take a GPS reading. Based on location on directions of owner, a location of N 40^ 37.673’ and W 78^45.207’ was recorded at point source. Based on this location, the source was 1900 feet from the gas well. Property was also recorded several ponds and springs on property located on the hillside of the resident with water flow to the pond and surface stream located on the hillside.
