2823496 | Primary Facility | 2019-01-08 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Department representative Sue Herzing conducted a routine site inspection at Alliance Petroleum Corporation's conventional well (027-21231) on January 8, 2019. The area surrounding the production equipment has been restored. Restored site is well vegetated. No signs of E&S issues. Brine tank is labeled with the well permit number. Chart recorder is dated 01/02/19. Flakey paint and corrosion were observed on the well head, separator, and axillary piping. The Department recommends monitoring the production equipment and replacing and/or repainting the equipment if necessary. Department staff used an Altair 5x gas meter during the inspection. Please note 10% LEL combustible gas was detected on the well casing (see attached photo). This case will be referred to a Departments Oil & Gas Inspector for further investigation. The Department recommends addressing this combustible gas leak. |
