Also on site was DEP WQS Supervisor Vince Yantko. At the time of the inspection no visible oil was observed on the surface of the ground surrounding the well or in the nearby waterways. After contacting the operator it was discovered the company maintaing and tending the well was Noumenon form Core, WV. The last time they serviced the well was in August 2009 to bail approx 250 gallons of water from the well. A well tag was missing from the well. The operator was contacted and they agreed to replace the missing well tag. |
