Well appears equipped for production. Well tag present. Brine tank appears unattached to production equipment; piping leading to brine tank is positioned over tank but not attached to tank. No signs of a spill/release observed at this time. Department contacted Operator Rep Spencer Johnson from site by phone to recommend maintaining brine tank/piping to avoid any potential pollution events. Mr. Johnson stated he would have Production Staff return Department's call. UPDATE: 3-16-16. Operator Rep Scott Bowers contacted Department by phone to state that he was at the site, the brine tank will be emptied and that the tank will be repositioned to ensure proper collection of production fluids.
