| 2823205 | Primary Facility | 2018-12-20 | Routine/Partial Inspection | No Violations Noted | A Notice of Intent to plug has been received by the Department for this well. There is a gas migration in the area and this well will be plugged in response to that. There was not any gas leaking from the well during inspection. |
| 2837191 | Primary Facility | 2019-02-06 | Routine/Partial Inspection | No Violations Noted | At the time of inspection, Fredericks has a rig over the well. The 1" tubing is hung up in the well so they will work that loose today and pull.
Attainable bottom at 2400' would be granted if, and only if, documentation is provided to the Department showing the daily reports for the clean out job they had done on this well recently. A plugging procedure was agreed upon if attainable bottom is granted. The bottom will have a plug set from 2400' to 2000'. |
| 2838652 | Primary Facility | 2019-02-11 | Routine/Partial Inspection | No Violations Noted | At the time of inspection, Fredericks was onsite pumping cement. Two plugs have been set so far. The 1st as from bottom (2390') to a tagged top at 1985'. Gel was placed to 1410'. The second plug was just finished up from 1410' to 1300'. Top will be tagged and more gel pumped.
Plans are to cement from 900' to 650' and from 590' to 520', with gel between. Prior to cementing, 6 hours was spent attempting to break through the bridge at 2400'. They gained no footage. I once again requested that documentation be provided describing the work that was done 2 years ago and what effort was made to break through the bridge. |
| 2841369 | Primary Facility | 2019-02-14 | Routine/Partial Inspection | No Violations Noted | At the time of inspection, Fredericks was onsite pumping 50 sxs more cement. The plug that was supposed to go from 590'-520' was tagged with a top at 561'. The pipe was shot at 575' and 535' prior to the original plug being set. It was agreed to vent the well so DEP can monitor the well for gas. If the gas migration is closed, then it can be discussed on cutting the well off below ground level.
Also met with Gene Frederick concerning attainable bottom. I viewed paperwork for the past work that was done on the well. He had some questions about the alternate method which I had to look up. I allowed for more time to complete the paperwork and we would meet up next week. |
| 2846582 | Primary Facility | 2019-02-25 | Routine/Partial Inspection | No Violations Noted | At the time of inspection, well is plugged , but left open on top so DEP can investigate for gas. There was no smell and a 0% methane reading was taken using an Altair 5 gas meter. The water well near this well also did not pick up any gas. |
