I entered the site off Smokey Corners Road at 12:20 to evaluate the fresh water dewatering plan for the fresh water impoundment on the site. The discharge area is north of the well pad (see photos), is well vegetated, and is upslope of the infiltration basin. I recommend monitoring the discharge rate to ensure that the discharge rate does not exceed the infiltration rate. Overall, the dewatering plan describes how the operator will maintain compliance during the discharge of fresh water. The Department acknowledges receipt of the Freshwater Impoundment Dewatering Plan for the Hannan Well Site. No Violations Noted. |
