2292529 Primary Facility 2014-08-05 Follow-up Inspection Outstanding Violations - No Viols Req'd The Department conducted a follow up inspection on 8/5/14 @ 1150 hours in Hector Twp., Potter Co. The weather is partly sunny, 75 degrees with thunderstorms in the area. The drill cuttings from the pit have been land applied and are visible across the surface of the food plot area. The pit has been backfilled and mulch has been applied to the disturbed area. No seed or soil amendments are visible underneath the mulch. Operator states "Wildlife seed mix was applied". The disturbed area appears temporarily stabilized. A tractor is parked onsite near the food plot area. Violations cited on 4/16/12, Inspection Record #2061389, remain outstanding. No new violations issued during this inspection.

The former drill cuttings pit has been removed, the site has been returned to original contours and has been seeded and mulched. The site was determined to meet the requirements of 25 Pa Code §102.22(a)(2) (i) Permanent Stabilization. A minimum uniform 70% perennial vegetative cover, with a density capable of resisting accelerated erosion and sedimentation was observed.
