2503316 | Primary Facility | 2016-07-21 | Routine/Partial Inspection | No Violations Noted | Partial inspection to determine the status of installation of post-construction stormwater management (PCSM) BMPs. No Chesapeake representatives were present.
The PCSM BMPs have been installed as approved by the Department in February 2016 through the granting of a 2-year extension of time for site restoration. Erosion and sediment control BMPs and temporary stabilization have been installed, and no evidence of accelerated erosion or sedimentation was observed. No violations were cited during this inspection. |

2823663 | Primary Facility | 2019-01-08 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Arrived onsite for a routine inspection at 09:22; the weather was ~35°F and calm. The pad surface was ice covered due to freezing rain the previous night.
There was 1 properly tagged Marcellus well staged for production. There were 3 well cellars filled with ice; no bubbling was observed. There was 1 GPU and sand separator, and 2 produced water tanks onsite and in secondary containment. The sand separator and produced water tanks had visible flaking paint and corrosion (Photos 1, 2, 4). Overall, the site was well vegetated and no E&S issues were noted. The spillway for the western infiltration basin had riprap that slid to the bottom (Photo #3). Some pipeline was on the pad and it appeared that work was being completed at some point. It is recommended that production storage and equipment and PCSM features be inspected and repaired or replaced as needed. No violations noted at this time. |
