Eaglehouse 5H was drilled and appeared to be in production at this time. Site has achieved 70% vegetative growth and the well pad had been fenced off. The farmer had turned the site back over to a pasture field for his cattle. As per the regulations, the operator has one year to install and remove the temporary stream crossing. This site still had the temporary stream crossings in place. The Department requests that the operator applies for a GP-7 permit by 6/23/10.

Due to landowner requests the operator has constructed numerous above grade pits onsite to hold the contents of the encapsulated pit they have excavated to have the cuttings hauled off-site to a landfill. Noted that the above grade pits had a large amount of cuttings and material and would thus not be capable of handling a large volume of water as a result of rain. Contacted the operator regarding this matter and in addition to get a timeframe for the completion of the removal of drill cuttings. Operator was to contact WQS Burk regarding this matter.
