Saskatchewan Data Releases

Saskatchewan v1.0 (August 2020)

This was the first release of Saskatchewan oil and gas data on WellWiki and includes data reported until June 2020. Our data came from multiple sources:


• Well Data Production/Injection Bundle [1] - Records upto 2020-02-28

• ISC SaskAdmin Data Set - Records upto 2020-02-28

• Petrinex BA Identifiers Report [2] - Records upto 2020-05-30

• Petrinex Facility Identifiers Report [3] - Records upto 2020-05-30

• Petrinex Horizon Pool Codes Report [4] - Records upto 2020-05-30


Overall, this upgrade resulted in the generation of 139,409 new Saskatchewan Well Pages; 23,603 new Well Status Events; 23,603 new Saskatchewan Operator Pages and 1,296 new Saskatchewan Municipality Pages. The team for this project consisted of Joel Gehman, Cole Miller, and Georgio Cheruvelil. Financial support and in-kind support for this project was provided in part by the University of Alberta School of Business.
